What it is
Laser resurfacing settings can be used to work on scarred areas, with the goal of encouraging the skin's own remodeling over time so that texture appears smoother and contrast between scarred and unscarred skin is reduced.
Being honest about outcomes
Scars are permanent structural changes. The realistic goal is improvement in appearance and texture, not erasure. Deeper ice-pick and tethered scars respond differently than shallow, rolling texture, and we will tell you which you have before you commit to anything.

What a visit involves
Depending on the settings used, expect redness and a sunburn-like sensation for a few days afterward. Sun protection during the treatment course is important. Several sessions spaced weeks apart are typical, and change accrues slowly.
